COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICIST
Stone Ridge Technology is seeking a candidate to join a small team of
physicists working on large-scale high performance codes. Candidate
should have ability to rapidly understand and contribute to complex
codes in a variety of Engineering and Scientific disciplines. PhD in
Physics, Applied Math or Engineering preferred but truly outstanding
MS/BS candidates with compensating experience will also be considered.
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional programming ability in C and C++
- Proficient with Unix systems (Linux/FreeBSD)
- Large-scale scientific/engineering codes author or major contributor
Job Preferences:
- Experienced with FORTRAN
- Experienced with NVIDIA CUDA
- Experienced with OpenMP and MPI
COMPUTER SCIENTIST
Stone Ridge Technology is seeking Computer Scientists for open
positions in its development group. Ability to rapidly assimilate and
contribute to a large and complex C/C++ or FORTRAN application is
essential. Experience with large scale science and engineering codes,
profiling, optimizing, parallelizing and porting is highly favored. MS
or BS in Computer Science preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional programming ability in C/C++
- Highly proficient in UNIX (Linux/FBSD)
Job Preferences:
- Experienced with Fortran
- Experienced with NVIDIA CUDA
- Experienced with Unix kernel development
- Experienced developing device drivers
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Stone Ridge Technology is seeking an Electrical Engineer with FPGA design experience. The qualified candidate will have experience in FPGA development for complex algorithmic processing. Experience should include FPGA design, simulation, synthesis and implementation with VHDL and/or Verilog for Xilinx and/or Altera devices. The candidate should also have experience with simulation tools such as ModelSim and place and route tools such as ISE and/or Quartus. Electrical Engineers or Physicists with a MS or PhD are desired.
Job Requirements:
- FPGA design experience
- VHDL/Verilog design for synthesis

- Strong diagnostic skills
- High speed interfaces such as PCI-e
